Cool, collected and accomplished pan-Asian cuisine in the north, Benjamin’s has a soothing and calm atmosphere designed for diners to relax. In homage to Ernest Hemingway’s The Old Man and the Sea, artist Chloe Planinsek was commissioned to paint the walls ambiguously with clouds and surf, comprising soft swirls of blue. Towards the centre of the room, illuminated clouds are suspended from the ceiling over a large central table. Benjamin’s was shortlisted in the Interior Design Excellence Awards for 2015.
